A former restaurant owner herself, she serves as a restaurant consultant and coach, restaurant writer, educator, legal expert witness, and, best of all, she knows how to handle business on the line as a trained chef!
Phyllis Ann holds a B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition from the Cornell University School of Human Ecology and took most of her courses in the College of Hotel & Restaurant Management. She is internationally trained in Paris at La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine, in London at Le Cordon Bleu and with Chefs in Hong Kong, Madrid, Florence, and Nice as well as having worked with the legendary Simone Beck in France and Julia Child in the U.S. She is certified by the International Association of Culinary Professionals, is a member of the California Restaurant Association and Board Member of the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, and active officer for the OC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
